The images below portray the idea of depth approaches in three different sections, which are, leading lines, repetition, and foreground/background. In small groups the class explored for treasures that would fall under these three categories. The leading lines section includes images of lines that are wide in the beginning, but as the line extends it becomes more narrow. Objects that are found to be repeated in a row belong to the Repetition section. Lastly, the Foreground/background section reveals images of objects that have been captured up close, but then have a blurred background. These pictures reveal a lot of change in exposure/contrast and they truly show how everyday necessities can have interesting shapes and appearances from different angles.

Combo Images

These categories of images portray an idea of self-expression when striving to find different objects around the street that represents triangular, circular, rectangular, and combo objects. The goal of this project was to travel around the streets and excel in creating different shapes out of everyday uses. These pictures introduce the varying shapes in contrast and different lights of exposure. The images below signify change in shade and angles when they were taken.

These images portray self expression and the idea of working with light motion. During this process a member of the group would hold up a flash light and generate an original action with the light. When reducing the speed of the camera, one is able to take a picture of the full action that is being presented before you. The images that I worked with involved motion of light, light and figure motion, and a picture where one is able to see the object, but the background is blurred. All these images reveal a difference in contrast and exposure that creates an understanding of motion picture taking.
