2nd Draft-Fina l Series

This is the second draft of my final series where I strived to continue to develop this method of macro-mode. I strived to capture various backgrounds to blur to provide the images with originality and self-expression. These images were developed through picnik to provide the images with more contrast and exposure. Having blurred backgrounds allow the the subject to stand out and look more bold.

  1. ALL ARE SUCCESSFUL. But actually, I think that these images are much more developed and interesting than the last ones. The last ones were good, as well, but these show more depth. Good job.

  2. I like how in your photos there is a certain softness to them, it gives them an eerie effect.

  3. These photos are very good. You really brought out the depth and detail in somethings that people otherwise might not notice. The second photo with the five dollar bill would have to be my favorite.

  5. try to go for sharper foreground detail. watch out for highlights in the background. can you shoot on 'macro' mode? this would give a more natural blur to the background, rather than adding blur during editing. you may want to shoot with a school camera to use macro and low aperture mode. these will help your project.

  6. I really like these images. I think that all are successful, I would just suggest trying the get the foreground in sharper detail in some of the photos, like the white flower.

  7. This is your best series. You have your usual dreamy and surreal style, but also incorporate some creativity. Really liked the salt shaker shot.
