This assignment focuses on Don Eldon's collage style portraying a visual statement through the connection of various colors and patterns in every image. In this collage I focused on the idea of moving forward and aspiring for a better future. I used images of hands to create a connection between one image to another revealing the impotence of working together to create a better future. The images of children is a way of emphasizing the importance that rising generations are the future of our world and it is imperative that these generations take control and look forward. The images of street art are left open for interpretation as they convey modernity and individualism. This is my interpretation of Don Eldon's work illuminating a deeper meaning with a collage.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Mr Whiton. There is a nice flow throughout this piece and the theme is obvious and tangible. Next time it would be cool to see you deviate away from the exact recreation of Eldon's themes.
